Wrexham players are no doubt still feeling a little aggrieved after Saturday’s 2-2 draw away at Charlton Athletic.
Phil Parkinson and co headed down to South London on Saturday to bring a gruelling week to an end.
Wrexham beat Rotherham United 1-0 before a 0-0 draw with Huddersfield Town at the STōK Cae Ras.
This testing set of games culminated in a trip to Charlton and Wrexham took the lead twice but left with just a point.
Andy Cannon appeared to have won the game as he put Wrexham 2-1 up, but a late twist left Wrexham gutted.
Max Cleworth was harshly penalised for handball inside the penalty area, allowing Matt Godden to score from the spot and rescue a point for Charlton.

George Dobson on Wrexham learning curve
Wrexham are understandable annoyed with both James McClean and Phil Parkinson seemingly frustrated at such a soft penalty being awarded.
Five points from those three games is not bad at all, but seven points would have been outstanding.
Wrexham sit third after Saturday’s draw but the disappointment of dropping two points late in the day is still strong.
Midfielder George Dobson has now commented on Saturday’s result and the late penalty.
Dobson was making his first return to Charlton since leaving the club for Wrexham over the summer.
As quoted by BBC Sport, Dobson accepted that the final 30 seconds of the game were a ‘big learning curve’ for Wrexham.
Wrexham lost the ball down in the corner and ended up conceding that penalty, showing just how quickly a game can change.
Dobson is still looking at the positives but feels Wrexham can still learn something from seeing two points slip away at The Valley.
“I thought we played really well [at Charlton] but that last 30 seconds, it’s a big learning curve for us,” said Dobson
“You come away from home, a big crowd – it’s a tough game but we played really well. So it’s a real kick in the teeth, but there are so many positives. We are still in a really good place going into the FA Cup and then we’ll get back to the league action,” he added.
Dobson may be rested against Harrogate Town
Next up for Wrexham is the FA Cup clash against Harrogate Town next weekend.
Wrexham head to Yorkshire and will look to make it into the second round of the competition.
Dobson highlighted Wrexham’s ‘huge’ squad whilst speaking to BBC Sport that Phil Parkinson may well be tempted to rest him.
Wrexham have other midfielders in the mix and even have a new signing looking for minutes.
Wrexham snapped up Matty James on Friday and the 33-year-old was immediately named on the bench against Charlton.
Starting the likes of James, Ollie Rathbone and James Jones in midfield against Harrogate may add up for Wrexham in order to build up their minutes and allow Dobson to rest ahead of facing Mansfield Town in League One.
