Wrexham loanee Paul Mullin was in action for Wigan Athletic against Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Earlier in the day, Phil Parkinson led his team out for their first Championship fixture.
It was a bright start from the Welsh outfit, but thanks to two late goals, Wrexham lost 2-1 versus Southampton.
Elsewhere, Wigan Athletic were in action in a 3pm kick-off, and Paul Mullin featured for the Latics.

Paul Mullin performance for Wigan Athletic vs Leyton Orient
Amid a continued lack of game time at the Racecourse Ground, Mullin was sent on loan to Wigan this summer.
The 30-year-old has remained close to home, joining the North West outfit in League One for 2025/26.
Mullin missed a big chance during his competitive debut for Wigan last week when he came off the bench in the 84th minute.
The striker once again started on the bench on August 9 when Ryan Lowe’s men took on Leyton Orient.
They fell to a 2-0 defeat, with Mullin getting a lot more game time than he did in the previous fixture.
