One Wrexham player has now opened up on his unfortunate injury that left Phil Parkinson with a big problem.
The latest episode of Welcome to Wrexham aired for fans in the UK on Disney+ on Friday, May 23.
The hit series has helped Wrexham garner a big audience in the last few years, with a number of interesting insights already coming out of the latest season.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney sent a message to rival fans, who have been slamming the club.
Elsewhere, Paul Mullin’s injury woes were documented in Episode 1, which came out last week.
Meanwhile, the latest episode of the show has shed some light on another star’s struggles during 2024/25.

Wrexham’s Arthur Okonkwo opens up on his injury
After an impressive loan spell in 2023/24, Wrexham signed Arthur Okonkwo on a free transfer last summer when his Arsenal deal expired.
He began the most recent season as the club’s number one, helping them boast one of the best defensive records in the division.
However, Okonkwo was injured during a 1-0 win over Mansfield Town on November 11th and went on to miss 10 games across all competitions.
On his injury, the keeper said in the latest Welcome to Wrexham episode: “It happened so quickly. Going into half-time, I was thinking maybe I’d just done a sprain or just a knock.
“Kev was able to strap up my hand. I was really in pain, but I didn’t want to come off the pitch. I wanted to stay on and try and help the team as much as I can.
“It wasn’t even a discussion, I was going back out and finishing the game. As a goalkeeper, you don’t want to let down the manager, the team. Sometimes it’s hard to find the balance of when to come off and when not to.”

Wrexham endured goalkeeper crisis
Okonkwo’s injury meant Phil Parkinson had to call upon Callum Burton to step up.
However, the number two suffered an injury of his own after just his fourth league start.
Rob McElhenney praised Burton’s form as he watched the Barnsley clash, in which the star was injured during.
Veteran shot-stopper Mark Howard was then called into action, with Burton and Okonkwo both facing lengthy spells on the sidelines.
Wrexham tried to secure an emergency loan for a new keeper, but EFL rules meant their request was denied. They eventually landed Brad Foster on a free transfer, who has since been released.
