Wrexham have allowed Ollie Palmer to join Swindon Town on a two-year contract, and Ian Holloway has reacted.
Wrexham signed Ollie Palmer over three years ago from AFC Wimbledon, with the player helping guide the club from the National League to the Championship.
However, he lost his place during their League One promotion season, being axed by Phil Parkinson after a 3-2 defeat to Stevenage on January 28.
This summer, a host of clubs wanted to sign Palmer from Wrexham, but his new club has now been confirmed.
The 33-year-old has swapped the Racecourse Ground for Swindon Town, agreeing terms on a two-year deal after leaving the Dragons.
Swindon are competing in League Two this term and are managed by Ian Holloway.

How Swindon Town signed Ollie Palmer from Wrexham
Holloway has enjoyed stints in the top tiers of English football throughout his illustrious managerial career.
Now, speaking to the media, as per BBC Sounds, he has opened up on how signing Palmer came about.
And Holloway actually revealed that he found out about Palmer being available via another centre-forward he was trying to sign this summer.
He said: “Life can be cruel but it can also be quirky. After the centre-half I was after he said ‘my best mate’s Ollie Palmer, I’m meeting him tonight’.
“I went Oh yeah, what they’re [Wrexham] letting him go? I’m not sure I knew about it all properly because I wasn’t in that market, was I?
“So through that connection, I then get a phone call later on and it’s Ollie Palmer himself.
“So we had a chat, probably one of the best chats I’ve ever had on the phone.”
