Humphrey Ker has now spoken out after Ollie Palmer’s Wrexham exit was confirmed.

Wrexham have made huge changes to their squad during the summer of 2025.

It was announced in June that Paul Mullin was leaving Wrexham to join Wigan Athletic on a season-long loan deal.

Now, after Mullin, Ollie Palmer has become the latest club icon to step away from the Racecourse Ground.

Palmer has moved to Swindon Town in League Two, penning terms on a two-year contract with the EFL outfit.

Humphrey Ker and James McClean’s message to Ollie Palmer

The 33-year-old will go down in history as a Red Dragons legend.

Palmer has already spoken about returning to Wrexham down the line to watch them from the stands.

He was crucial to all three of their promotions under Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, and has left a lasting imprint on many at the club.

Now, both Humphrey Ker and James McClean have taken to social media to send messages to the former Wrexham ace.

Writing on an Instagram story, McClean stated: “Must say this one hurts. What guy man, one of the best fella, all the best big global @olliep9_, been some blast the past few years.”

Ker also posted to his Instagram story, writing: “Farewell to a ledge. King pazzy.”

Who else could leave Wrexham after Ollie Palmer

Palmer is the latest in a long line of players to leave Wrexham this summer, but more exits could still follow.

The transfer deadline for this window is 7pm BST on September 1.

Currently, it is understood that Tom O’Connor is ‘free to leave’ the Championship outfit this summer.

Elliot Lee has been linked with a transfer despite still playing fairly regularly this season as well.

Jacob Mendy’s Wrexham future remains uncertain as well, going into the final days of the window.
