Wrexham may have lost at Stockport County last weekend but remain right in the hunt at the top end of the League One table.
This long and testing League One season was never going to be entirely smooth for Wrexham.
Wrexham started with 13 points from a possible 15 and left fans dreaming of a third promotion in a row.
Form since then has been a little more up and down; four wins, three draws and three defeats in the last 10 League One games.
Wrexham lost 1-0 at Stockport County over the weekend but still sit third in the League One table.
Phil Parkinson will be gutted with that performance but Wrexham are just two points off second place after 15 games.

League One boss shares Wrexham prediction
Wrexham must solve some attacking concerns in order to be in the promotion mix but this has been a more than decent start to the season.
Big-spending Birmingham City are the title favourites but they sit second right now with Wycombe Wanderers top of the table.
The Chairboys started the season with defeats to Wrexham and Birmingham but have been almost flawless ever since.
Wycombe have dropped just four points in their last 12 games and have won six in a row.
Wrexham boss Parkinson has praised Wycombe whilst denying that they should be viewed as a surprise package.
Matt Bloomfield is the man masterminding Wycombe’s stunning form and he has now discussed Wrexham.
Bloomfield has attracted interest from Coventry City and believes that he is now in an ‘incredible’ battle with both Birmingham and Wrexham.
Bloomfield has told The Telegraph that he thinks Birmingham and Wrexham will be ‘right up the top’ of League One due to the money spend, but Wycombe are prepared for the challenge.
“I’ve been at this level long enough to know that the guys with the biggest budgets usually finish at the top,” said Bloomfield.
“They can recruit the best players and have the biggest squads. You would still expect Birmingham and Wrexham to be right up the top of the league, but for us it’s an incredible challenge,” he added.

Wrexham must improve going forward in order to win promotion
Wrexham are a strong and solid unit but goals have been hard to come by of late.
Just four goals in the last five League One games means Wrexham aren’t exactly clicking going forward.
Jack Marriott and Steven Fletcher are both injured and Paul Mullin has only scored once in League One this season.
Wrexham can’t expect to be in the top two this season without finding a solution to these attacking concerns.
Parkinson will be well aware of that and will hope to see his attacking players find the net in the coming weeks with the busy festive period now imminent.
