Wrexham know there is work to be done on and off the pitch to become an established Championship club.
Wrexham’s owners have vowed to be ‘aggressive’ in the transfer market this summer as they provide Phil Parkinson with the resources to make the team competitive in the Championship.
Off the pitch, work is beginning on the New Kop Stand at the Racecourse Ground, which will earn Wrexham an extra £10m per season from VIP revenue.

Michael Williamson makes bold Wrexham academy prediction
Speaking on episode 4 of the latest series of ‘Welcome to Wrexham’, Williamson has been discussing the importance of Wrexham’s academy.
Wrexham’s academy was upgraded recently to a category three establishment and Williamson’s prediction for the future could be good news for Wales manager Craig Bellamy.
Williamson stated: “The academy is critical for the long term success of the club because the academy is going to be the pipeline for our future,
“Long term it’s going to help make us sustainable as a football club, five years from now, ten years from now, fifteen years from now, you’re going to see national team players that have come through our academy programme.”
Max Cleworth names two Wrexham academy prospects to watch out for
Max Cleworth is perhaps Wrexham’s biggest academy success in recent years and the defender has already named the two players to watch out for next season.
Cleworth has praised Harry Ashfield and Aaron James and believes the duo can make their mark next season as they develop.
Ashfield could go out on loan whilst it is expected that James will continue to learn his trade with the youth and reserve sides.
If the club can make good on Williamson’s prediction of home-grown international footballers, then the recent investment at Colliers Park will be more than justified.
