Wrexham’s players are enjoying a well-deserved break after their promotion heroics.
Wrexham’s owners funded a Las Vegas trip for the players and Phil Parkinson now faces an anxious wait as to whether all members of his squad will return!
Parkinson has contract decisions to make in the meantime but can bask in the glory of guiding Wrexham to their third successive promotion under his reign.
Departures are likely from the Racecourse Ground this summer but there is no denying the spirit and togetherness in the Wrexham squad – typified by Ollie Palmer’s latest message on social media.
Ollie Palmer’s eight word message to Ollie Rathbone
Palmer is among the players currently enjoying the party in Las Vegas but has taken to his Instagram account to show his love for team mate Ollie Rathbone.
An eight-word Instagram story pokes fun at the Wrexham midfielder but also shows the respect from Palmer as to how good Rathbone has been in his debut season at the club.
Palmer wrote: “If there was an OLD player of the season…”
The message was written alongside a picture of the pair in Vegas and Rathbone was tagged with a heart eyes emoji.
Palmer and Rathbone could have very different Wrexham futures
Rathbone is excited for the Championship and believes his side will cause a few upsets along their way upon promotion from League One.
However, Palmer has been exiled from the team since January and looks set to depart the Red Dragons this summer. A move to Canada has been touted for Palmer.

Parkinson has admitted Wrexham departures this summer will happen as he looks to secure the best possible 25-man squad for the new season.
