Wrexham have now achieved back-to-back promotions and Phil Parkinson will be hoping to strengthen enough to go for a fourth.
Wrexham beat Charlton Athletic 3-0 last weekend to secure a spot in the Championship.
Phil Parkinson’s frankly ridiculous promotion record continues, securing three in a row as Wrexham boss.
Parkinson ended the League One season on a high as Wrexham defeated Lincoln City 2-0 away from home.
Everybody at Wrexham deserves all the praise coming their way right now, but Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds will be looking for this journey to continue.
Ben Foster is predicting Premier League football for Wrexham within the next five years, but that will require some more brilliant recruitment.

Phil Parkinson on potential Wrexham exits
Promotions always bring difficult departures; we saw that last summer as Luke Young and Ben Tozer departed Wrexham.
Young was McElhenney’s favourite player, but he was let go at the end of his contract.
Cheltenham Town signed Young, whilst defender Tozer headed to Forest Green Rovers.
More emotional exits could be on the cards, with Parkinson telling BBC Sport that ‘players could go’ from Wrexham this summer.
Parkinson wants to keep a large part of his squad together and recruit for the next level.
Part of that is letting players go, with Parkinson noting that Wrexham now have time to make the ‘right decisions’ in terms of offloading players.
“We will try and keep the players we’ve got, recruit the best players we can within our budget and we will see towards the end of pre-season whether we’ve pieced together the squad we believe will be competitive,” said Parkinson.
“It’s hard to say that now because let’s assess the market and have a look but it’s so exciting, the grounds our supporters will have so many great days.
“Players could go – I don’t want to speak about it just after the last game – but when you go up automatically you have time to review everything.
“We’ve got a nice bit of time and it’s about making the right decisions and we’ve done that pretty well over the last few years and the job now is can we do it again,” he added.
Five players who could leave Wrexham
Defender Will Boyle hasn’t played a single minute of League One action this season and has only been on the bench once.
Injuries have been a problem for Boyle, and we can see the 29-year-old moving on this summer.
The same goes for Luke Bolton, who only joined Wrexham from Salford City in January 2024.
Bolton was viewed as great competition for Ryan Barnett but has failed to really make an impact at the STōK Cae Ras.
Bolton almost left Wrexham last summer, just months after arriving, and an injury-hit season means he has been unable to salvage his Wrexham career.
We must also, sadly, discuss the potential exits of Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer.
The two strikers have been heroes on Wrexham’s journey through the leagues, forming a brilliant partnership together.
However, Mullin and Palmer have been frozen out since the end of the January transfer window and look poised to move on.
Parkinson commented on Mullin and Palmer by suggesting they will be back for pre-season, but it’s difficult to see a way back in for them at Championship level.
Mullin and Palmer leaving would make real headlines, but the same can’t really be said of Luke McNicholas.
McNicholas joined Wrexham from Sligo Rovers in a £100,000 move but has been unable to make a firm breakthrough.
The Irishman impressed on loan at Rochdale this season but is likely to return to Wrexham down the pecking order this summer.
McNicholas will be stuck behind Arthur Okonkwo, Callum Burton and Mark Howard as things stand, which isn’t ideal for the 25-year-old.
McNicholas admitting wanting first-team football last summer and may, sadly, have to leave Wrexham to find it.
