Paul Mullin left Wrexham earlier this summer, joining Wigan Athletic on a season-long loan.
The striker arrived at Wrexham in the summer of 2021, joining on a free transfer from Cambridge United.
Paul Mullin spent three seasons as the club’s top goalscorer but lost his place in the latter half of 2024/25.
In turn, Wrexham loaned Mullin to Wigan Athletic in June, where he will spend all of 2025/26 unless he is recalled in January.
After leaving the Red Dragons, the centre-forward has continued his amazing work away from the football pitch.

Paul Mullin continues ‘important’ work after leaving Wrexham
During his time in Wales, Mullin has done amazing work in the community.
The 30-year-old is a Your Space patron – a charity that supports young people with Autism and their families, based in Llay, Wrexham.
And now he’s moved to Wigan, Mullin has continued his work in the community, taking part in ‘The Ultimate Training Day’ to raise funds for Wigan Athletic Community Trust and Wigan Warriors Community Foundation’s ongoing community work.
Speaking at the event, as per the EFL’s official website, he said: “Communities are a massive part of all Clubs. It’s a really important thing and hopefully we can take that onto the pitch.
“Giving back is something massively important in my life. I’m obviously a patron for an autism charity over in Wrexham – it’s something really close to my heart.
“Any help they could receive makes a massive difference and has a massive impact on other people’s lives, and if you have the opportunity to do that you should do it.”

Rob Mac has praised Paul Mullin’s character
Away from all the goals he scored en route to the club winning three promotions in a row, Mullin has been praised by Rob Mac for his work elsewhere.
Speaking on the last season of Welcome to Wrexham, the co-owner said: “The change is constant, somebody like Paul, who’s a Wrexham legend, is adjusting to the changes of the squad, as is the nature of the sport.
“But the great news is he’s a force of nature in so many different ways and has an incredible platform and a desire to reach out and uplift the community, and that’s what Wrexham’s all about.”
