Wrexham dropped points at Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon, leaving Phil Parkinson with plenty of work to do in the League One promotion race.
Last Saturday afternoon, the sun was out at the STōK Cae Ras, and Wrexham fans were dreaming of the Championship.
Wrexham’s win over Burton Albion opened up a six-point gap to Wycombe Wanderers in the race for second place.
Just over a week later, that lead is down to just one point after Wycombe beat Huddersfield Town and then Stevenage.
Wrexham only drew at Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon, stumbling to a 0-0 stalemate at the Brick Community Stadium.
Phil Parkinson’s side couldn’t even muster a shot on target in a fairly dour affair, leaving Wrexham with some work to do.

Phil Parkinson on Wrexham promotion race
Wrexham at least have a chance to hit back on Friday.
Bristol Rovers visit the STōK Cae Ras on Easter Friday, with the relegation-threatened Pirates needing points.
Wrexham must turn up for that one and hopefully kickstart the Easter period with a victory.
Some supporters may be a little worried after Saturday’s draw, but Parkinson has attempted to steady the ship.
Parkinson is a very level-headed manager, with Eoghan O’Connell praising the mentality in the Wrexham squad under his tutelage.
Speaking to The Leader, Parkinson suggested that he doesn’t want to go over Saturday’s draw too much because he wants to start preparing for Bristol Rovers.
Parkinson offered his honest verdict, too; Wrexham could have taken this situation if it was offered before the start of the season.
The challenge now is for Wrexham to go and finish the job, with Parkinson calling on his players to be ready.
“We need to get the lads back in Monday and have a quick review of this performance,” said Parkinson.
“We’re not going to go too much over it because we’ve got to move on quickly to Bristol Rovers on Friday.
“Let’s be honest, if someone had said to us at the start of the season that we would be a point clear in second with four games to go – two at home and two away – we’d have took that all day. We have just got to make sure we’re ready,” he added.

The final four games in focus
Wrexham’s Easter period is a potentially tricky one.
Bristol Rovers are fighting for their lives, whilst Blackpool have been in strong form in recent weeks.
Charlton Athletic will be a real threat in the final home game of the season before Wrexham end the campaign at Lincoln City.
We saw Paul Merson marvel at Wrexham’s remaining fixtures, but the reality is that each of these games will be tricky for different reasons.
Wycombe face a gruelling run-in, though, as they travel to take on Bolton Wanderers before hosting Charlton Athletic over the Easter weekend.
The Chairboys head to Leyton Orient before hosting Stockport County on the final day, meaning their four remaining games all come against top-eight sides in League One.
That run-in is incredibly tough, and with Rob McElhenney fancying another promotion, Wrexham must take that one-point advantage and turn it into Championship football next season.
