Wrexham are expected to be without one player when they take on Bristol Rovers in a League One meeting on Friday.
The Red Dragons are now four matches away from potentially booking themselves a place in the Championship.
Depending on the result of Wrexham vs Bristol Rovers, and what could happen when Wycombe Wanderers take on Bolton Wanderers, this week is likely to prove crucial in deciding who takes second place.
At present, it is Phil Parkinson and Co. who have the advantage when it comes to clinching second and going up alongside Birmingham City.
But after Wrexham drew 0-0 with Wigan Athletic, who are in the bottom half of the table, fans were reminded that there are absolutely no easy games in this division, and Bristol Rovers will no doubt put up a fight.
As a result, even though Rovers are fighting to avoid relegation, the Red Dragons will need to be at their best.

Phil Parkinson confirms Modou Faal injury before Wrexham vs Bristol Rovers
But there is one man who will almost certainly not be playing any part in the fixture on April 18.
Despite a hectic season, Wrexham have largely been lucky when it comes to long-term, serious injuries.
Andy Cannon is out for the campaign, but other than him, the Hollywood-owned club didn’t have any real problems going into the weekend.
That was until this week, when Parkinson confirmed, as per Leader Live, that Modou Faal has suffered a ‘bad injury’.
He said: “Unfortunately, Mo got injured in training this week, which is a blow and it’s quite a bad injury with his thigh,” said Parkinson.
“That’s a shame for Mo, it’s frustrating for him and for us.
“We’ll be assessing the seriousness of that over the next couple of days.”

Modou Faal Wrexham future
The injury seems certain to rule Faal out for the season, and it’s going to be interesting to see what the future holds for the striker.
Faal impressed in the EFL Trophy earlier this year, but after Wrexham were knocked out of that competition, he’s been a bit-part player.
Now 22, the striker is at a crucial stage of his career when he needs to be playing regular football.
But Faal is already struggling to start matches, and if Wrexham do win promotion, it’s hard to see him being afforded much, if any, game time in the Championship.
As a result, a loan move during the summer of 2025 may be best for all parties.
