Wrexham have now lost just one of the last seven games in all competitions after a 1-1 home draw with Derby County on Saturday.
Wrexham took the lead against Derby County as Lewis O’Brien headed home a fine cross from the impressive Issa Kabore.
Perhaps O’Brien was lucky to be on the pitch after a first-half foul, but he popped up to give Wrexham the lead.
Wrexham couldn’t hang on for a win, though, as Ben Brereton Diaz curled home a fine equaliser for the Rams in a 1-1 draw.

Phil Parkinson explains decision over Wrexham’s Lewis Brunt
Parkinson made just one change from the Wrexham side that beat Norwich last weekend.
Defender Callum Doyle dropped out of the starting XI and was replaced by Lewis Brunt.
Brunt impressed Josh Windass after coming on for Doyle at half-time last weekend, before both Brunt and Doyle started against Reading in midweek.
Brunt was given the nod against Derby, and Parkinson explained his thinking while speaking on Wrexham Match Day Live.
Parkinson was impressed with Brunt against Norwich and felt both he and Doyle played well against Reading in midweek.
Parkinson believes that Brunt is just further ahead in terms of his physical capacity, having been through a full pre-season and played Wrexham’s opening games.
Doyle didn’t have the same preparation at Manchester City, so Parkinson feels that he isn’t quite ready to play every single game right now.
Wrexham paid £5million to sign Doyle from City, but Parkinson is wisely easing him into the line-up as he builds sharpness.
“I thought Brunty did well when he came on against Norwich,” said Parkinson.
“On Tuesday, both of them did really well. Obviously, I brought Callum off because of his booking [against Norwich], and I was just a bit worried about him.
“I just think Brunty is physically where he needs to be, whereas Callum is a little bit behind in terms of the Tuesday-Saturday scenario at the moment, so it’s no more than that,” he added.
Lewis Brunt or Callum Doyle set for Leicester City return
Parkinson will be faced with the same quandary on Tuesday night, as Wrexham travel to take on Leicester City.
Brunt has stepped up of late and may feel that he deserves to keep his place on the left side of Wrexham’s back three.
Whether Parkinson goes for Brunt or Doyle, he will be selecting a defender formerly of Leicester to play against the Foxes.
Brunt joined Leicester from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021, but only made four first-team appearances before leaving for Wrexham last summer.
Doyle spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Leicester, playing 17 times in the Championship as the Foxes won promotion under Enzo Maresca.
Both players are now set to return to the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night, but Parkinson will face a big call on which player gets the nod to start.
