Issa Kabore again caught the eye as Wrexham drew 1-1 with Derby County at the STōK Cae Ras on Saturday afternoon.
Wrexham have now lost just one of the last seven games in all competitions after a 1-1 draw with Derby County.
Lewis O’Brien was arguably lucky to avoid a red card in the first half, but then popped up to head Wrexham in front after the break.
Wrexham couldn’t hold onto the lead, though, as Ben Brereton Diaz curled home a fantastic finish from range.
A draw was probably a fair result, but Wrexham can feel a little frustrated not to have claimed all three points.

Phil Parkinson praises Wrexham’s Issa Kabore
Wrexham really appear to be settling at Championship level, and wing-back Issa Kabore is making a big difference.
Kabore joined Wrexham on loan from Manchester City on transfer deadline day, bringing another right wing-back option to the STōK Cae Ras.
Parkinson hoped Pep Guardiola didn’t watch Kabore against Norwich City last weekend, as the City loanee bagged two assists in a fantastic Wrexham win.
Kabore was at it again on Saturday, crossing for O’Brien to head Wrexham into the lead against Derby.
It’s fair to say that Kabore is making a huge impact for Wrexham, and Parkinson has offered him major praise.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Parkinson branded Kabore ‘brilliant’ for his display against Derby, suggesting that O’Brien’s goal from Kabore’s cross was a contender for the best goal in the Championship on Saturday.
Parkinson praised Kabore’s ‘heart and commitment’, hailing him for being a ‘good defender’ as well as offering a threat going forward.
The Wrexham boss feels that Kabore is a ‘great signing’, with his early displays certainly backing up that claim.
“Issa was brilliant again today,” said Parkinson.
“It’s his quality, but he fights for every ball, he gets back quickly, he’s a good defender, and that was a goal that will be up there with the contenders for one of the best goals in the Championship today.
“He plays with a real heart and commitment. When we watched him, I really liked that about him. He runs back as quick as he goes forward. He’s tenacious, he wants to win, and he’s a great signing for us,” he added.

Never fall in love with loan players
Wrexham fans haven’t seen many loan players pass through the club under Parkinson.
Arthur Okonkwo and Luke McNicholas were the only two loan signings before Kabore, and they ended up joining permanently anyway.
Most EFL fanbases see multiple loanees every season, and they usually have one message – ‘never fall in love with loan players’.
All too often, loan players make a big impact and then return to their parent clubs, never to be seen again.
That could be the case with Kabore, as no option or obligation to turn the move permanent was made public on deadline day.
We can only hope that Wrexham have a chance to keep Kabore come the end of the season, as he is making a huge impact and quickly becoming a fan favourite.
