Wrexham face Exeter City knowing that they can further strengthen their position in the League One automatic promotion places.
Ryan Barnett and Elliot Lee could return in the Wrexham predicted XI given the success the duo had against Exeter earlier in the season during a 3-0 victory at the Racecourse Ground.
George Dobson played through injury against Stockport but is expected to be fit for the clash at St James Park with Ollie Rathbone also expected to start in midfield.
Gary Caldwell identified Wrexham’s strengths during that defeat for his side and will make life difficult for Wrexham. Phil Parkinson named a surprising man of the match that day but he cannot be involved this time round against Exeter.

Phil Parkinson revealed man of the match choice vs Exeter
Speaking to the club’s official YouTube channel after Wrexham’s 3-0 win over Exeter, Parkinson gave his thoughts on the man of the match that day and it was a surprising choice to all.
Parkinson stated: “Man of the match today was Chal [Paul Chaloner] the groundsman for me, you know the pitch, the rain we’ve had, the snow which was on the pitch and to get it in that good condition I have to give Chal and his team enormous credit.”
Paul Chaloner will of course not be involved in the upcoming clash given that Wrexham travel away to play at Exeter’s St James Park.
However, Parkinson was thankful for the work put in to get the return fixture playable and his side picked up an important three points in the race for League One promotion.
Parkinson praised the influence of Elliot Lee vs Exeter
Elliot Lee has made substitute appearances in each of Wrexham’s last three games but could be in line to start the upcoming clash with Exeter following his influence in the previous victory over the Grecians.
Parkinson stated: “I thought we played some great football, got the control we were looking for in the game. Matty James and Ollie Rathbone in the middle of the pitch and Elliot [Lee] changing his position just give us a different dynamic.”
Lee has scored seven times and produce three assists in his 32 appearances in the league so far this season and could prove vital in unlocking Exeter’s defensive resistence.
With Dobson carrying a knock and the trio of Lee, James and Rathbone working last time out against Exeter, the 30-year-old could make a return to the starting eleven.
