Wrexham have been without George Evans for much of the 2024/25 campaign to date.
George Evans joined Wrexham on free transfer from Championship outfit Millwall in the summer of 2023.
The midfielder was a key player for Phil Parkinson when the Red Dragons won their second-straight promotion in the 2023/24 season.
Evans featured 35 times across all competitions last term, providing two assists in said outings.
When the current campaign began, however, the 30-year-old saw his Wrexham minutes greatly reduced.
George Dobson had replaced the midfielder in the centre of the park following his summer switch from Charlton Athletic, with Andy Cannon and Elliot Lee occupying the other two places.
Parkinson praised Evans after he made an impact off the bench in a 0-0 draw with Leyton Orient in late September.
The Englishman then started Wrexham’s following league clash versus Stevenage but suffered an injury during said tie.

Phil Parkinson provides George Evans injury update
Evans ‘felt something crack’ against Stevenage and has not made a senior appearance for the club since.
This forced Wrexham to dip into the free-agent market and sign Matty James to help provide cover in midfield.
James has excelled for the Red Dragons in Evans’ absence but the latter is now closing in on a return.
Wrexham’s reserves played Salford City in the Central League meeting on Tuesday afternoon, with Evans coming through unscathed following a 65-minute cameo.
Now, after that tie, Parkinson has provided an update on the midfielder, confirming he could make his senior return over the festive period, as per Leader Live.
He said: “George is back from injury and he played. He was just getting ready to contribute and then he had the injury against Stevenage so it’s good to see him back.
“We will just have a good look at George and he could be in contention over the festive period.
“He’s been training for about seven to 10 days and looks in good shape.”
Which other senior players featured in Wrexham reserve defeat
Wrexham lost the meeting with Salford 2-1 but the game was largely just about giving some senior players minutes.
Along with Evans, Parkinson confirmed a number of first-team stars and a few youngsters lined out for the club’s reserves on Tuesday.
He said: “It was the last reserve game before Christmas so it was a good opportunity for a few of the youngsters underneath the ones who’ve been involved like Harry Ashfield, Aaron James and Josh Adam to get involved, and then a few of the senior players who we feel needed to play as well like Jacob Mendy, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Anthony Forde.”
Forde is not currently eligible to play in League One but fresh minutes for Mendy and Bodvarsson suggest Parkinson could be planning to use them in the hectic festive period.
Wrexham play four games in 12 days, starting with an away trip to Bristol Rovers on December 21st.
