Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson believes his side will turn a corner soon despite a 3-1 home defeat to Queens Park Rangers.
Wrexham beat Millwall 2-0 before the international break to pick up a first Championship victory.
Phil Parkinson may feel that the break interrupted his side’s momentum, as Wrexham lost 3-1 at home to Queens Park Rangers.
Kieffer Moore pulled a goal back after Wrexham fell 2-0 down, but Rumarn Burrell’s goal on the counter-attack sealed the win for QPR.

Phil Parkinson shares confident Wrexham message
Wrexham continue to leak goals at this level, which will be a major concern for Parkinson.
A strong defence has been the backbone of Wrexham’s success in recent years, so this is a major problem for Parkinson to solve.
It’s still early days in the Championship season, but Wrexham have picked up just four points in the first five Championship games.
Parkinson’s future has been discussed, and TalkSPORT add that conversations have been held inside Wrexham over his role.
A sacking any time soon would be a surprise, but spending more than £30million on summer signings brings new pressure.
Parkinson remains confident of picking up results in the very near future, though, and sent a strong message to fans after losing to QPR.
Speaking on Wrexham Match Day Live, Parkinson accepted that bedding in new players ‘can cause problems’, and Wrexham must be patient as they settle into a new area and a new dressing room.
Parkinson stated that Wrexham will ‘come through the other side’ of this tricky run, believing that the squad is good enough to pick up results in the near future.
“We made it too easy for them to score,” said Parkinson.
“Of course, we’ve signed a lot of players. We knew there would be some rocky moments at this early stage of the season, because we’ve got a lot of players coming in, settling into the area, moving house, and a lot of players have picked up injuries, and we’re integrating them back into the group.
“When you’ve got so many, that can cause problems, but in the long-term, the squad is a strong one, and we’ll come through this together and we’ll come through the other side of it,” he added.
Phil Parkinson deserves time at Wrexham
Conversations over Parkinson’s future sound dramatic, but may not be all that out of the ordinary.
Clubs like to have potential successors in mind just in case a managerial change materialises, and Wrexham would be foolish not to at least have names in the mix.
Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds have proven that they are not knee-jerk owners, and they will understand that Parkinson needs time.
Wrexham made 13 summer signings, and bedding in those players is not an easy task.
It shouldn’t be forgotten that Wrexham fans are also going through a transition here, with fan favourites moving on in recent times and a raft of new faces coming in.
The STōK Cae Ras has been a fortress in recent times, but the early weeks of this campaign have brought a period of change as fans grow more familiar with Parkinson’s new squad.
All of this just points to one thing – time. Time to gel, time to learn the challenges of the Championship, time for Parkinson to work on tactical tweaks to suit his new players.
There would be little logic in sacking Parkinson right now, and his brilliant record in recent years has certainly earned him more than just five league games in the Championship.
