Wrexham are preparing for one of the biggest games in the club’s history as they welcome Charlton Athletic to the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham’s 2-1 win over Blackpool moved the Red Dragons back into the automatic promotion places with just two games remaining in League One.
Opta’s supercomputer has Wrexham favourites to now go up following the three point swing with Wycombe but Phil Parkinson will know that nothing is confirmed yet.
George Dobson was outstanding against Blackpool in midfield, whilst there were also stand-out performances from Ollie Rathbone and James McClean. Parkinson has also singled out another star for high praise.

Phil Parkinson praise for Dan Scarr
Dan Scarr was excellent for Wrexham in their win at Bloomfield and as per the Leader, his manager has singled him out for high praise.
Parkinson stated: “We’ve got to make sure the standard of training is high, because look at Dan Scarr. He hasn’t played for a long time – obviously he played 45 minutes against Bristol Rovers – but he came in and played brilliantly against Blackpool.”
Parkinson now faces a selection dilemma ahead of Charlton’s visit to the Racecourse Ground with Eoghan O’Connell expecting to be recovered from a knock sustained against Bristol Rovers.
Scarr excelled in the win over Steve Bruce’s side but O’Connell has been Humphrey Ker’s player of the season and a huge reason behind the Red Dragons being in such a strong position.
Phil Parkinson calls for repeat of Blackpool performance
Wrexham could be promoted after their next fixture against Charlton should they win and other results go in their favour but Parkinson is just asking for one simple thing from his players.
Parkinson explained: “These lads have been brilliant for us all season and we’re going to really have a go next week. It’s going to be a performance like against Blackpool and I’m really looking forward to it already.”

Nathan Jones has fired a dig at Wrexham by branding the club a ‘circus’ as the pre-match mind games begin but the Red Dragons boss is too experienced to be drawn into that.
He knows that his side only need to worry about themselves and two victories will ensure that they achieve English football history by securing three successive promotions.
