Wrexham have won four games in a row and are building momentum in their hunt for League One promotion.
Steven Fletcher compared Ollie Rathbone to Lionel Messi after the midfielder scored in Wrexham’s 2-0 win over Northampton to move them to within two points of the automatic promotion spot.
Phil Parkinson was pleased with his side’s strength in the duels and knows they will need to be at their very best when they face an in-form Leyton Orient at the Racecourse Ground.
Parkinson is not expected to make many chances in the Wrexham predicted XI but knows that the Red Dragons will have to overcome a 22 year long drought if they are to keep up pace in the League One promotion battle.

Wrexham have not beat Leyton Orient for 22 years
Wrexham have overcome many things on their rapid rise through the divisions since the takeover from Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney but ending 22 years of hurt will be right up there in terms of difficulty.
Not since April 2003 have the Red Dragons defeated their next opponents Leyton Orient, a 1-0 win was enough on that day with the goal coming from Andy Morrell in the old Division three clash.
The club could find themselves in the automatic promotion spots if results go their way but know they face a tough test against Richie Wellens’s, who are vying for promotion themselves.
Orient have propelled themselves into the playoff places after having won four out of their last five league games and took Manchester City all the way in their recent FA Cup clash.
Wrexham will need to be aware of Leyton Orient’s assist king Ethan Galbraith
Ryan Barnett currently leads the way in the League One assist charts however, he is being chased down rapidly by Leyton Orient’s Ethan Galbraith.
The midfielder has provided four assists and one goal in Orient’s last two encounters, including three in one match in their 3-2 win over Lincoln City.
Galbraith was named in the League One Team of the Week alongside Wrexham’s Lewis Brunt and Parkinson will know that he needs to keep the Orient midfielder quiet at the Racecourse.
It promises to be a tight, nervy affair in North Wales and the game could be decided by one moment of quality or one lapse in concentration.
