Wrexham secured the signing of a new right wing-back after Issa Kabore arrived on loan from Manchester City.
Wrexham’s deadline day business saw three new signings arrive to finish off Phil Parkinson’s summer activity.
Ben Sheaf, Issa Kabore and Dominic Hyam arrived in the final hours of the window as Wrexham finished up with 13 summer signings.
Kabore’s arrival is an interesting one, given that Wrexham already have two strong right wing-backs in Ryan Barnett and Ryan Longman.
Barnett landed a new contract last season, before Longman came in from Hull City in a £500,000 swoop.
Kabore adds increased competition at right wing-back, and could even feature against Queens Park Rangers this weekend.

Issa Kabore’s potential shirt number at Wrexham
Kabore arrives on loan from Manchester City and is now in his seventh loan spell away from the Etihad Stadium.
The Burkina Faso international joined City from Mechelen in 2020 before heading back to the Belgian side on loan.
Kabore has since been on loan to Troyes, Marseille, Luton Town, Benfica, Werder Bremen and now Wrexham.
The 24-year-old has not yet been given a shirt number at Wrexham ahead of this weekend’s game against QPR.
Kabore’s ideal number would seemingly be 29, having worn that number at Mechelen, Troyes, Marseille and Werder Bremen.
However, right wing-back rival Ryan Barnett holds that number, so Kabore will have to look elsewhere.
Number 12 is available at Wrexham, and Kabore previously wore that number during his time with Luton Town.
Alternatively, Kabore could go as close to 29 as possible, having worn 28 during his time with Benfica.
Numbers 26, 30, 31 and 32 are all available at Wrexham, which could appeal to Kabore, with 29 off the table.
Issa Kabore wears surprise shirt number for Burkina Faso
Kabore is currently on international duty with Burkina Faso, and Parkinson will monitor him closely upon his return to Wrexham.
A debut against QPR is a real possibility, but much will depend on how Kabore returns from Africa.
Any Wrexham fan paying attention to Kabore’s fortunes for Burkina Faso against Egypt may be baffled to see him wearing the number nine shirt.
That isn’t a mistake, as Kabore regularly wears number nine for Burkina Faso, despite playing at right-back or right wing-back.
Kabore won’t be taking number nine at Wrexham, with new signing Ryan Hardie in possession of that shirt, but number 12 or somewhere around the number 29 are our best predictions.
