The 2025 summer transfer window has been the most expensive in Wrexham’s history by a considerable distance.
The Welsh outfit have broken their transfer record a whopping three times during the summer window alone, aiming to achieve Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac’s ultimate goal of bringing Premier League football to Wrexham for the first time ever.
Wrexham continued their big spending on the final day of the window too, forking out £6.5m to sign midfielder Ben Sheaf from Coventry City and bringing in the talented Issa Kabore on loan from Manchester City.
Phil Parkinson will be hoping his deadline day signings will have a similar impact to the likes of Lewis O’Brien and Kieffer Moore, who have hit the ground running at the Racecourse Ground – inspiring Wrexham to a 2-0 win over Millwall prior to the international break.
Here’s every deal Wrexham completed on deadline day.
Wrexham signings on deadline day
Parkinson was busy once again on deadline day, making the shrewd acquisition of two players in areas where more depth was needed.
Sheaf will provide some much-needed quality and depth in midfield, while Kabore will fight for minutes with Ryan Longman and Ryan Barnett in the right wing-back role while on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 Championship campaign.
Wrexham dropped a deadline day bombshell when they announced Dominic Hyam late into the night. The 29-year-old eventually made the switch from Blackburn Rovers following a delay in completing paperwork.

Every Wrexham departure during the summer transfer window
While Wrexham fans were spoilt with new signings in the summer window, there were also a few painful sales of fan favourites too.
The two biggest departures were undoubtedly club icons Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer. Mullin has joined League One outfit Wigan Athletic on loan for the 2025/26 season, while Palmer made a permanent move to Swindon Town – putting pen to paper on a two-year deal.
Mullin and Palmer were two of the 17 players who’ve left the Welsh club this summer, with the likes of Mark Howard and Jordan Davies also departing in 2025.
