Rob McElhenney has been sharing his thoughts following the latest Wrexham announcement this week, which fans already love.
Wrexham are gearing up for their first season in the Championship since the second tier of English football underwent a rebrand.
The Red Dragons have enjoyed a historic rise under Rob McElhenney and his fellow Wrexham co-owner, Ryan Reynolds.
They have won three promotions in a row, and the North American owners are using the club’s continued ascension to eye huge financial deals similar to top European clubs.
On this front, Wrexham announced a new sponsorship deal last week and have since released their home and away kits for 2025/26.

Rob McElhenney on Wrexham 2025/26 away kit
The new home kit got a mixed response from fans when it was released midway through last week.
However, Wrexham fans love the away jersey, which was revealed by the club on Monday after being ‘leaked’ by a US supplier over the weekend.
Now, McElhenney has shared his reaction to the new away top via an Instagram story.
The actor wrote: “New kit fresh as a… well, ok it’s a daffodil which is actually better.”

Wrexham kits among most expensive in Championship
Wrexham fans will have to pay £65 for adult jerseys this season.
And if they wish to add names and numbers on the back as well as a Championship badge, they will need to pay up to £89.
It makes Wrexham’s the second most expensive kit in the Championship, with Preston North End (base price £70), the only shirt currently more expensive.
As well as earning money from the new kits, Wrexham have big sponsorship deals in place, including around £5-6m per year from United Airlines.
