Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have received a heartfelt message from a Wrexham player this week.
The Red Dragons are back in EFL Trophy action on Wednesday evening, facing off with Peterborough United.
A victory for Wrexham will see them book their place in the final against Birmingham City later this campaign.
Prior to taking on The Posh, the Welsh outfit returned to winning ways in the league, beating a struggling Mansfield Town 2-1 to move back in contention for a second-place finish and automatic promotion.
During that match, Wrexham lost Andy Cannon to injury with the midfielder forced off and needing oxygen.

Andy Cannon sends message to Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds
An injury update on Cannon has since been provided by the club, confirming the player ‘faces a significant period’ out of action.
The Englishman has been in solid form recently and it’s going to be a big loss for Wrexham as we enter the business end of the campaign.
Now, Cannon has himself taken to Instagram to pen a message, thanking everyone including Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, who have supported him following the blow.
He wrote: “Not the end to the season I envisaged, but sadly, I have ruptured my ACL and will undergo surgery next week.
“I have been overwhelmed by the care and support I have received from family, friends, all the staff at @wrexham_afc the owners @vancityreynolds @robmcelhenney my teammates, all our medical team and of course, our incredible fans.
“My recovery will take time and patience but I’m determined to come back even stronger. I’ll be cheering on the lads and wishing for a successful end to the season and I’ll see you all at the STōK Cae Ras soon.”

How Wrexham can replace Any Cannon
With Cannon now out for the remainder of 2024/25, Phil Parkinson will have to assess the best way to replace him.
Wrexham could sign a free agent as they have two spaces still available in their League One squad following Luke Bolton and Will Boyle being axed.
Harry Ashfield may drop into midfield as well despite excelling as a second striker in his last start for the club.
Meanwhile, Parkinson should give George Evans more minutes in the league as a result of Cannon’s long-term lay-off.
