Wrexham faced off with Blackpool in a League One clash on Boxing day, coming away with a big three points.
The Red Dragons had dropped points in their previous two league matches by conceding late goals.
This had seen Wrexham drop down to third in the division and off the pace of Birmingham City and Wycombe Wanderers.
As a result, it was crucial Phil Parkinson and co. got back to winning ways when they welcomed Blackpool to the Racecourse Ground on December 26th.
When all was said and done in Wales, Wrexham beat Blackpool 2-1, leaving them two points off second-place Wycombe and three points off top spot having played at least one game more.
A number of stars impressed for the Welsh outfit on Thursday but the majority of the praise has gone to Paul Mullin.

Ryan Reynolds message to Paul Mullin after Wrexham vs Blackpool
Mullin opened the scoring against Blackpool in the 24th minute with a wonderful strike.
It was the Englishman’s first league start since November amid a pretty torrid run of form.
Wrexham fans’ view on Mullin was bad last week when he came off the bench and struggled against Bristol Rovers.
However, after he put the home team in front midway through the first 45 in midweek, Red Dragons fans praised Mullin once more.
Supporters were not the only ones to show love for the striker on Thursday, however. Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds also did so on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Reynolds reposted a video of Mullin’s goal and wrote: “This one. So pretty…” while tagging the player.
Mullin responded to the American with a message of his own, writing: “Merry Christmas with love”.

James McClean and Ollie Palmer react to Paul Mullin after Wrexham vs Blackpool
After scoring only his second league goal of 2024/25, Mullin sent a message post-Blackpool.
Captain James McClean reacted with a pair of clapping hands and a fire emoji, while Ollie Palmer replied with ball and tick emojis.
It was a positive showing all round with everyone at the club no doubt thrilled to see Mullin finally end his goal drought.
Next up for Wrexham is a meeting with Wigan Athletic on December 29th and the centre-forward should keep his place in the eleven.
