Wrexham will take on Cambridge United in a 3pm League One kick-off on Saturday afternoon and Ryan Reynolds is expected to watch the game live.
It has been a phenomenal start to the 2024/25 season for Wrexham, who probably did not expect to be doing so well when the campaign got underway in August.
It began with a 3-2 win over promotion rivals Wycombe Wanderers and barring a slight dip in form a couple of months ago, has gone very well.
Wrexham beat Burton Albion 1-0 in their previous League One meeting. That result saw them maintain second place in the third tier and go level on points with the aforementioned Wycombe.
Cambridge United are next up for Wrexham, facing Paul Mullin’s former side at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday afternoon.
Cambridge are currently 22nd in the table after playing 18 games but have only lost one of their last five fixtures.
A tricky test awaits the Red Dragons on December 14th and co-owner Ryan Reynolds is expected to be cheering them on from the stands.

Ryan Reynolds spotted in Wrexham before Cambridge United
Based in America, the actor does not often attend games in person owing to his busy schedule.
He does show his support for the club on social media, however, with Reynolds reacting to Elliot Lee’s goal vs Burton last weekend.
But the Hollywood star has now been spotted in Wrexham by fans on social media prior to the match.
The 48-year-old was videoed in a bar holding a microphone and sent a message to fans ahead of the Cambridge game.
Some of the audio in the video is hard to make out, but Reynolds can be heard saying: “I hope we’ll all be watching [the game] and up the town right?”
Wrexham may have fresh injuries vs Cambridge United
The Red Dragons go into the clash as favourites with one BBC pundit predicting Wrexham to beat Cambridge 3-0.
However, Parkinson does have a few problems to deal with that could impact his side’s ability to pick up the three points.
Callum Burton and Arthur Okonkwo will miss the game and Parkinson has hinted at more Wrexham injuries vs Cambridge.
He said this week: “We’ve got a couple of little injuries which we’ve got to look closely at before the weekend.
“I don’t really want to mention too much about who they are but we’ve got a few issues to resolve as we go into the weekend and a few decisions to make on the team selection.”
