Shaun Harvey has responded to a question over the future of Phil Parkinson at Wrexham.
Before the campaign got underway, there were already suggestions from several pundits that Phil Parkinson would leave Wrexham in 2025/26.
Five games into the Championship season, the Red Dragons have had a slow start, most recently losing 3-1 to Queens Park Rangers at home.
So far, Wrexham have won one in five and sit 21st in the Championship ahead of their meeting with Norwich City this weekend.

The mixed results have led to suggestions that Wrexham had discussed Parkinson’s future prior to the QPR defeat.

Shaun Harvey on Phil Parkinson talks
Club chief Shaun Harvey has now been asked about Parkinson and whether talks have been held.
Harvey was speaking on the Fearless In Devotion podcast about Wrexham’s summer transfer business and more.
When doing so, he was asked about talk of Parkinson’s future but made it clear it has not been discussed at the Racecourse Ground yet.
He said: “Phil has everybody at the club’s full support, you know, and no, before you start, somebody starts writing headlines, Harvey gives Parkinson the vote of confidence. That is not the vote of confidence. What I’m saying is he’s got our full support. You can only give somebody a vote of confidence when you’ve actually discussed the future.
“It’s not even been on anywhere near an agenda as yet. So, you know, listen, if that day comes, the decision has to take and be taken. But, you know, Phil’s our man. We’ve backed it. We’ve backed him from the start. We backed him from four years ago. We’ve had all the success under that regime. Why should we start panicking now?”
Shaun Harvey on Phil Jones visiting Wrexham
Phil Jones watched Wrexham lose to QPR this past Saturday alongside Ryan Reynolds.
As has already been reported, Jones was a guest of Michael Williamson for the match.
And Harvey was also quick to explain the reason for the former Manchester United man’s visit.
He said: “Phil Jones, poor old Phil Jones, comes as a guest to the game of Michael Williamson because they live very close together and, obviously, he’s more than interested in football.
“If we’d have won that game on Saturday, nobody would have cared less that he was stood there. Then all of a sudden, you know, what’s this conspiracy that’s going on?”
