Wrexham face Rotherham United at the Racecourse Ground and prepare to welcome manager Steve Evans to North Wales.
Steve Evans called Wrexham the ‘Harlem Globetrotters’ earlier on in the season in a dig at the club’s spending and ambition to gain promotion from League One.
Wrexham won the reverse fixture 1-0 and after the game goal scorer on the day Paul Mullin mocked Evans with a social media message.
Ahead of the upcoming clash at the Racecourse, Phil Parkinson is preparing for a ‘physical’ test for his side and Evans has also been giving his verdict on the game and Wrexham’s aims as a club.

Steve Evans compares Wrexham to ‘Real Madrid’ of League One
Earlier in the season, Evans compared Birmingham City as the ‘Real Madrid’ of League One and has now put Wrexham in the same bracket as the league leaders ahead of the upcoming clash at the Racecourse Ground.
As per BBC Sport Wales, Evans stated: “Our aim is to go and win at Wrexham, We know that it’s going to be tough. I described them in the same way as I did Birmingham at the start of the season.
“Now Wycombe have joined that little group in terms of having huge finances to try and play Championship football next season,”
Birmingham are currently nine points clear at the top of League One and running away with the title however, there is a real battle for second place as Wrexham sit just two points behind Wycombe.
Evans gives surprise Wrexham verdict
Evans was also asked whether he wanted to see the Wrexham project fail and gave a surprising response considering his jibes this season.
Evans stated: “I don’t want to see them [Wrexham] fail, I think Phil Parkinson is a good guy and he can’t do any more than go and sign the boy [Sam] Smith, [Jay] Rodriguez and Ollie Rathbone from us.
“I would think their budget is way up there, £4m spent in the January window. That tells you the ambition that lies at Wrexham and it tells you a little bit about our challenge [on Saturday] too.”

Parkinson will be hoping that his new signings Smith and Rodriguez can finally ignite their partnership against Rotherham as both are becoming increasingly frustrated figures at their start to their Red Dragons careers.
Wrexham fans were unimpressed with Rodriguez against Huddersfield but part of the problem has been the service given to the forwards, something the Wrexham manager has to find a solution to.
