Paul Mullin has not been seen in a Wrexham shirt in League One since the end of January in a 3-2 home defeat to Stevenage.
Wrexham fans adore Mullin and his future at the club is in question having been exiled from the latest run of matchday squads by manager Phil Parkinson.
Mullin has struggled for form this season but given his record at the club having scored an incredible 105 goals for the Red Dragons, fans are perplexed at Mullin’s continued omission.
Earlier in the season, the reverse fixture between Wrexham and Rotherham provided Mullin with his best moment of his League One season as he scored the winning goal in a 1-0 win. After the game, he added even more spice to the upcoming fixture between the two sides.

Paul Mullin mocked Rotherham manager Steve Evans following previous victory
Rotherham manager Steve Evans has been known to enjoy the occasional mind-games battle with his opponents over his long career and Evans taunted Wrexham earlier in the season.
The Millers boss compared Wrexham to the Harlem Globetrotters, something that Mullin took full advantage of following his side’s victory back in October.
Mullin shared a social media message mocking Evans that stated: “Good 1.0 win for the Harlem Globetrotters today… thanks for the great support.”
The humorous nature of the message will not have bothered Evans but it is sure to be at the back of both team’s minds and perhaps provide extra motivation for the upcoming clash at the Racecourse Ground.
Mullin should be involved in the matchday squad vs Rotherham
There are injury concerns in the midfield area for Parkinson ahead of the game with Rotherham as Andy Cannon’s long term injury has been added to with George Dobson also a doubt.
It means that Wrexham are light of options in the middle of the park and whilst Mullin is not a midfielder, there have been suggestions that he could play as a number ten behind a strikeforce.

A huge reason why Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez have not fired so far as a front pair has been the lack of quality service provided into them, both have had to drop deep in order to pick up the ball.
Someone like Mullin, who has excellent technique and an eye for a pass could provide the perfect foil for the front two and give the side some extra creativity going forward.
