Wrexham return to League One action with a meeting against Wigan Athletic on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Dragons are aiming to end 2024 with a bang and continue their unbeaten run in the league.
Wrexham beat Blackpool 2-1 on Boxing Day, meaning they have not tasted defeat in seven games in the third tier – last losing on November 16th against Stockport County.
Despite their unbeaten run, however, the Welsh side are still behind Wycombe Wanderers and Birmingham City in the table.
Both teams have games in hand on Wrexham, meaning a win against Wigan Athletic is a must this weekend.
Wigan go into the clash at the Racecourse Ground 14th in League One having won two, drawn one, and lost one of their last five.

Elliot Lee injury update before Wrexham vs Wigan
Ahead of the tie, Wrexham have a few injury concerns to deal with, including Elliot Lee.
Lee was injured vs Bristol Rovers after scoring his side’s only goal of that match on December 21st.
The midfielder is suffering from a hamstring problem and missed the victory over Blackpool on Thursday.
However, as per Leader Live, assistant manager Steve Parkin has since provided an update on Lee, confirming he should have a good chance of featuring against Wigan on Sunday.
He said: “I would like to think so.
“Pre-caution was take a little bit against Blackpool, he’ll definitely have to have a couple of decent days training but I think he’ll have a good chance.”

Why Elliot Lee may replace Paul Mullin vs Wigan
In Lee’s absence, Paul Mullin was given a rare start by Phil Parkinson and scored his second league goal of 2024/25 on Boxing Day.
However, even though Ryan Reynolds sent a message to Mullin after that clash, there’s a chance he could be dropped once more if Lee is fit.
The Red Dragons are struggling slightly on the goal front this season with none of their strikers, barring a still-injured Jack Marriott, netting more than three in the league.
Lee, on the other hand, is the club’s top scorer with six despite playing a number of games as a midfielder.
Parkinson has been deploying the 30-year-old up front of late, however, and could slot him straight back into the team alongside Ollie Palmer versus Wigan if he’s fit enough.
