Wrexham are just months away from competing in the Championship for the first time ever.
Wrexham beat Charlton Athletic 3-0 on April 26 to secure second place in League One.
A week later, the Red Dragons made club history when they beat Lincoln City to notch their highest-ever points total in the EFL (92).
Wrexham last competed in the second tier all the way back in the 1980s, but have not lined out in the Championship since it was rebranded.
The club could spend around £40m during the upcoming summer transfer window due to their impressive turnover in recent years and further expected increases in revenue.
And Wrexham have been told they need to make at least six signings to compete in the Championship.

The Championship position Wrexham will want
Rob McElhenney played down ‘consolidation’ for Wrexham in 2025/26, perhaps hinting at going for yet another promotion.
However, a more realistic target for the club in the forthcoming campaign has now been outlined.
Speaking on the Rob Ryan Red podcast this week, journalist Richard Sutcliffe was asked what Wrexham’s genuine target will be this season.
To which he responded: “Sitting here now, mentioning momentum like you’ve mentioned there, 14th.
“And I say that because that will be the club’s highest ever position in their history going way, way back forever. To be everyone else around the country, they’ll be like ‘14th, so what’ but to Wrexham, it’s another stepping stone to where they’re going to end up.
“They are going to end up in the Premier League. I think if Wrexham were to turn around at the end of next season and say, yeah, we finished 14th, 13th, whatever, that’s success because no other team has finished as high as that.”
When will Wrexham reach the Premier League
While Rob hinted he wants to go up again in 2025/26, others in and around the club have different views.
Ryan Reynolds backed Wrexham to reach the Premier League within the next decade after their latest promotion.
Former goalkeeper and Dragons ace Ben Foster also shared his verdict on the club’s chances of promotion.
When doing so, Foster suggested Wrexham will be in the Premier League within five years.
