Ollie Palmer’s future at Wrexham beyond the 2025 summer transfer window has become a major talking point.
The Wrexham Insider revealed earlier this month that Ollie Palmer has been offered to multiple clubs this summer.
Among the teams to have looked at the player are his former side, AFC Wimbledon, and MK Dons.
Palmer has one year left on his Wrexham contract and has not played a league fixture since January 28.
The striker was once again absent from the squad on Saturday when the Red Dragons lost to Southampton in gameweek 1, and details of what the club told Palmer prior to that match have been shared.

Wrexham future message to Ollie Palmer
Wrexham lost that fixture 2-1 thanks to two very late goals from Will Still’s men.
Shortly before the game, Phil Parkinson commented on Palmer and a potential summer transfer.
Now, Nathan Salt has shared details of the private meeting between the centre-forward and the club in the build-up to the Saints clash.
He said on the Rob Ryan Red podcast: “There was a meeting last week before the Southampton game, the week leading up to the Southampton game.
“Ollie Palmer’s told, you are surplus to requirements, thanks for everything you’ve given us since coming in on that Tuesday night, was it against Grimsby where he scored on his debut?
“Thanks for everything you’ve given us, but you will, you don’t need to play for this football club again, we have what we have; we’re going to make more signings. You’re done.”

Will Ollie Palmer stay at Wrexham now
While Palmer was absent on Saturday, he returned to the squad for the first time in months on Tuesday versus Hull City.
It came after new signing Kieffer Moore was injured in the opening weekend Championship clash.
Palmer scored twice to hand Wrexham a 3-3 draw in normal time before netting in the shootout, which they won 5-3.
Despite a prolific showing and potential inclusion against West Brom this coming weekend, it is expected that he will still leave this summer.
