Paul Mullin returns to action this weekend with a showdown against Wrexham’s Welsh rivals.
The 30-year-old is spending the 2025/26 campaign back in League One with Wigan Athletic.
Paul Mullin should have a key role at Wigan moving forward after comments made by their manager this week.
Mullin has three League One goals for the Latics so far this term – as many as he managed throughout all of last season with Wrexham.
The Red Dragons return to action on September 27 to face off with Derby County, while Wigan are playing Cardiff City.

Ryan Lowe message to Paul Mullin and Wigan teammates
Wrexham play Cardiff in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, and Phil Parkinson may want to contact Mullin after he lines up against their Welsh rivals this weekend.
The Bluebirds suffered relegation from the Championship last season, but are flying high in the third tier.
They will kick off Saturday in fourth place but only three points adrift of top spot with a game in hand and superior goal difference.
Wigan, meanwhile, are 12th, having won three, drawn three and lost three.
Ryan Lowe’s side have been excellent at home this season, but he has now urged his players to ensure they sustain that record when Cardiff come to town on September 27.
He said, as per Wigan’s official website: “If we give a good account of ourselves, we’ve got a chance of beating any team in the division, and hopefully that can be the case on Saturday.
“Teams will fear our home record. It’s up to us to sustain it and make sure we stake that claim of not getting beat at home. That’s going to be the message to the lads on Saturday.
“We’ll have the fans behind us – and hopefully it can be a good afternoon.”
