Wrexham take on Peterborough United in the EFL Trophy semi-final on Wednesday night, knowing that just one more win will set up a dream date with Birmingham City at Wembley.
While the EFL Trophy started as a distraction for Wrexham, it has now turned into an incredible opportunity for glory this season.
Phil Parkinson’s men take on Peterborough United tomorrow, with both sides looking to book a place at the Wembley final on March 16.
There are big decisions to be made when it comes to Wrexham’s lineup for the semi-final, but one player who may not even feature has shared his huge dreams ahead of the game.

Harry Ashfield dreaming of Wembley trip with Wrexham
Harry Ashfield has already lived the dream this season, after bagging his first goal for his boyhood club in the third round win over Port Vale.
Fans and teammates alike were impressed by the ‘quality’ display from Ashfield in that game, but he’s had to settle for a peripheral role since then.
But, speaking to BBC Sport Wales, Ashfield has shared how he’s feeling ahead of the upcoming EFL Trophy tie, and he has big ambitions in mind.
Ashfield said: “It’ll be a tough challenge. It’s a semi-final, so both teams will be very up for it. We want to give our best on the pitch and see if we can get to Wembley.
“It’d be massive. Even the best footballers, some of them don’t get to play at Wembley, so to do that in my first professional year would be unbelievable.”

Will Harry Ashfield get any game time against Peterborough?
That outing against Port Vale was Ashfield’s fourth appearance for Wrexham this season, with all of them coming in the EFL Trophy.
He hasn’t played since then, and wasn’t even included in the game against Bolton in the quarter-finals. With this in mind, and given the magnitude of the match against Peterborough, we simply cannot see Ashfield getting a chance here.
There’s plenty of quality in the Wrexham squad, in any of the positions Ashfield plays, be it up top or in the playmaker role, or even out on the right wing.
We do expect to see Ashfield make the bench, though, especially in light of Andy Cannon’s injury, which could open a door in the middle of the park for the youngster. Hopefully he does get some minutes, as it would be a brilliant story for the Wrexham academy star.
