One Wrexham coach has issued words of praise towards some of the club’s more unsung heroes.
Wrexham have undergone a vast rise through the divisions in recent years, notching three successive promotion-winning campaigns.
Whilst on the pitch, Wrexham have had many changes in regards to personnel, and are set to again this summer as they prepare for the mammoth task of the Championship, little has changed behind the scenes.
The club has gone from strength to strength with very few changes off the pitch, something that is a testament to the club culture that Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have built since taking over the club.
The Wrexham owners, as well as Phil Parkinson, regularly get serenaded with deserved praise for the growth of the club, but some integral people who have flown under the radar have also been praised for what they have done.

Wrexham coach David Jones praises behind-the-scenes figures for upwards club trajectory
In the media, not much is said about the work that those behind the scenes put into the club, doing so on a day-by-day basis. As a result, Wrexham coach David Jones has taken it upon himself to praise those who deserve it.
Jones did praise Wrexham owners Reynolds and McElhenney, but he also mentioned those who deserve extra credit.
“Off the pitch Shaun Harvey and Michael Williamson have both used their areas of expertise to take the club forward while strengthening the link between the fans, players and staff,” said Jones when speaking to Leader Live. “Humphrey Ker, who has been here since the takeover, has been a very calming and consistently supportive influence around the place as the football club has grown.
“There are people who have been at the club for many years still working here including the head groundsman Paul Chaloner, kit man Iwan Pugh-Jones and Cledwyn Ashford in youth development not to mention the support and wisdom on offer from Brian Flynn, Joey Jones and Mickey Thomas.
“These colleagues and Wrexham legends are the fabric of the club and the owners recognise the importance of these people.”

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have created a brilliant working environment that has had everlasting impact at the club
Many people tar Wrexham with the brush that their success is solely based on the money they have had to throw at transfers, but if that were the case, then football would be a much easier game.
Countless times, teams have thrown money at their problems, and it hasn’t worked, so what have Wrexham done that is different?
To put it simply, both Reynolds and McElhenney’s arrival at the club breathed new life into the town and club, and that has led to Wrexham working as a tight ship that has been able to sail through the divisions.
The club culture created with the owners’ arrival has played a significant part in the success, and hopefully, Wrexham are still yet to reach their ceiling.
