Wrexham fans have been reacting to the news that their club have made their third signing of the summer.
It has been known for some time that Wrexham were signing Liberato Cacace from the Serie B.
The versatile left-back, who was born in New Zealand, has now put pen to paper on a three-year deal.
He has, including bonuses, set Wrexham back £4m, making him their new record signing after Sam Smith – £2.02m from Reading in January.
The defender has already given his first interview since joining the Welsh outfit, with Cacace revealing why he signed.

Fans react to Wrexham signing Liberato Cacace
Now, Wrexham fans have been reacting to the news, and their verdict is very clear.
Supporters are pleased at his arrival, with a number joking the transfer fee means they’re buying the league.
One fan wrote: “£4m and everyone will be saying Wrexham are buying the league..”
A second replied: “What a signing that is. Walking the league, I think.”
“You spelt Roberto Carlos wrong lads,” another supporter tweeted.
A fourth Wrexham fan joked: “Oil money Wrexham!” while a fifth added: “Welcome to Wrexham Liberato, a great signing.”
“Serious signing, looks a proper class player first of a few before the first game hopefully,” another stated.
A seventh Dragons fan added: “Absolutely amazing signing,” with an eighth echoing: “Brilliant signing! Welcome Liberato!”
How will Wrexham use Liberato Cacace
The 24-year-old has spent the last three seasons on the books of FC Empoli in Italy.
During that time, the New Zealand international has largely played as a left-back or left-wing-back.
In turn, he will most likely play a lot of his games on the left of Phil Parkinson’s back five.
However, he scored two and assisted one in 12 matches as an attacking midfielder in the Serie A last term, so there’s a chance Wrexham could use him in that role.
