Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have owned Wrexham for nearly four years now and things are changing.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed a takeover of Wrexham from their Supporters Trust back in February 2021.
The duo have taken the club to new heights on and off the field, including two promotions in two seasons.
The profile of Rob and Ryan on top of the successful ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ documentary now in its third season on Disney+, has seen the small town in Wales gain a worldwide following.
Huge A-List stars such as Hugh Jackman and Paul Rudd have attended matches at the Racecourse Ground in the last few years.
Meanwhile, McElhenney and Reynolds secured fresh investment in Wrexham late in 2024.

Kaleen Allyn message to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney
It was confirmed at the end of October that the Allyn family had become ‘new minority investors’ in Wrexham.
Since the initial news broke last year, we have seen little to no news regarding the Allyn family and their role with the League One club.
Now though, as per BBC Sport, their new investors have stepped up their role in the club.
When doing so, Kaleen Allyn, who has joined the board as executive director, sent a message to Ryan and Rob.
She said: “On behalf of the Allyn family, I am honoured to be appointed to the board of directors of Wrexham AFC limited.
“For over a century, our family has focused on building great businesses, while also uplifting resilient communities. We now look forward to bringing that family ethos to Wrexham AFC and the community of Wrexham.
“We are grateful to Rob and Ryan, and the Wrexham community, for this great opportunity. Together with the Wrexham board, I look forward to playing an active and positive role in the club and community.”

Wrexham duo given new roles amid Allyn family involvement
When news first broke in 2024, Reynolds responded to a question about his Wrexham future, confirming he and McElhenney will remain the majority owners.
While nothing has changed for the American pair, however, two long-time servants of the club have seen their roles change.
Wrexham confirmed via their official website that Humphrey Ker and Shaun Harvey will both change positions.
They wrote in a statement: “Following the recent appointments to the Club’s full-time staff, the responsibilities of two current Board Members are to change from the February 4, 2025.
“Humphrey Ker will become the Board’s Community Director and Shaun Harvey will assume the role of the Board’s Non-Executive Director.”
