2024 is coming to an end and Wrexham can feel very comfortable with Phil Parkinson in charge as League One clubs make managerial changes.
With just over a week left of 2024, Wrexham can reflect on another positive years under Phil Parkinson.
Wrexham clinched promotion from League Two back in April and are now flying high in League One.
Despite disappointing draws with Cambridge United and Bristol Rovers, Wrexham are still third in the League One table.
There are still two games of 2024 to go for Wrexham as Blackpool and Wigan Athletic visit the STōK Cae Ras.
Whatever the results, Wrexham can be pleased with Parkinson’s work and feel comfortable with him in the hot seat.

Northampton Town confirm new manager
Wrexham have real stability in the dugout with Parkinson under little pressure right now.
That isn’t the case across League One though with managers coming and going or receiving public backing.
Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has been backed by the Trotters hierarchy despite fan pressure this season.
Reading recently lost Ruben Selles to Hull City, Burton Albion hired Gary Bowyer as their manager and Bristol Rovers sacked Matt Taylor before facing Wrexham.
There have been a number of managerial changes of late and Northampton Town recently saw Jon Brady resign.
Brady praised Wrexham’s squad after a 4-1 defeat at the STōK Cae Ras earlier this season and stepped aside to make way for a new manager.
Northampton have now confirmed the appointment of former Premier League star Kevin Nolan as their new boss.
Nolan left West Ham United at the end of last season and is now back managing again for the first time since departing Notts County in 2018.
Nolan will now – barring a disastrous run of results – take on Parkinson and Wrexham when the two sides meet in February.

Wrexham miss out on Robbie Savage meeting
Nolan’s deal means that Wrexham will miss on facing a boyhood fan.
When Brady left Northampton, Robbie Savage was heavily linked with becoming Cobblers boss.
Savage hails from Wrexham and grew up supporting the club, but never turned out for Wrexham in his playing career.
Savage is now in charge at non-league side Macclesfield Town but previously indicated an interest in investing in Wrexham – long before Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds showed up.
That didn’t materialise and neither has a move to Northampton, meaning Savage will miss out on the chance to manage against his boyhood club.
Perhaps Northampton’s criteria was ‘Premier League midfielders from the mid-2000’s’ as Nolan gets the nod over Savage, nearly 15 years since they last faces each other as players.
