Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson will be full of frustration after seeing his side drop four points against Cambridge United and Bristol Rovers.
Wrexham would have been looking for six points from two games against Cambridge United and Bristol Rovers.
Cambridge have struggled this season whilst Bristol Rovers sacked boss Matt Taylor ahead of Wrexham’s visit to the Memorial Stadium.
Wrexham threw away three points against Cambridge due to a late penalty and it was a similar story at Bristol Rovers.
Elliot Lee’s goal from a sublime Matty James assist had put Wrexham on course for a 1-0 victory.
Wrexham failed to kill the game off though and Promise Omochere popped up with a late leveller to secure a 1-1 draw.

Wrexham must add Elliot Lee competition
This was a hugely disappointing result for Wrexham and one major deficiency was exposed.
Goalscorer Lee went off injured and Wrexham fans weren’t really impressed with Paul Mullin after his performance.
Wrexham seriously miss Lee’s guile and goalscoring threat in advanced areas and this is something Phil Parkinson may need to rectify in January.
The transfer window is just around the corner and Wrexham will have a chance to add options to Parkinson’s squad.
Lee has started all but one league game for Wrexham this season and in that one game where he didn’t start, he still came off the bench.
There is a huge reliance on Lee as an attack-minded midfield player and there just isn’t a natural replacement in the Wrexham squad.
Ollie Rathbone could play in a similar role but is more of a bundle of energy than a creative and goalscoring midfield player.
Josh Adam joined Wrexham in September and could be another option there, but it may be a little too soon for him to play major League One football.
Adding another midfield player who can ease the burden on Lee must be a priority for Wrexham in January and his injury really highlights that fact.
Wrexham haven’t exactly been free-flowing in attack of late anyway and losing such a skilled attacker in Lee – for any amount of time – would be a huge blow.
That would only be exacerbated by Wrexham not having clear alternatives and making a signing in this area may well be just as important as adding another striker.
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds may need to spread out spending
Reports suggest that Wrexham want to sign another striker in January with a proven Championship forward wanted.
Patrick Bamford has been linked with Wrexham amid claims that Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds are ready to splash the cash on a new striker.
We would suggest that rather than blowing the budget on a striker, Wrexham may need to spread the cash out.
Yes, a striker would be a big addition, but spending cash on serious competition for Lee should be a priority too.
Adding a playmaker and a striker could be enormous for Wrexham and those two signings could make a huge impact in the push for promotion in 2025.
