Wrexham and Wales hero Kieffer Moore made history on Wednesday as he scored the only goal in the Welsh win over Kazakhstan in the World Cup qualifier.
Kieffer Moore can do no wrong this season. The big striker is in fine form for Wrexham with four goals in five games following a summer move from Sheffield United, and his fine form earned him a call-up for the national side.
Going into the September international break, three Wrexham players were called up to Craig Bellamy’s Wales side, including Moore, Danny Ward and Nathan Broadhead.
But summer signings Ward and Broadhead were both pulled out due to injury, whilst Moore started and scored the only goal of the game as Wales beat Kazakhstan 1-0 on Thursday in a World Cup qualifier.

Kieffer Moore breaks Wrexham record with Wales
The Welsh game against Kazakhstan was a historical one for more than one reason. It was his 50th cap for his country, and the 33-year-old now has 15 goals too, making him the 11th top scorer in Welsh national team history, tied with John Charles.
But not only that, Moore becomes the first Wrexham player to score for the Welsh national team since Chris Llewellyn did so in 2006. Ahead of the international break when the trio of Wrexham players were called up for the national side, they became the first Wrexham players since Steve Evans in 2008 to be called up for the Welsh team.

Who Wales play next, and which other Wrexham players are in action this week?
Wrexham next play Canada in an international friendly on Tuesday night. Expect Moore to feature again, and expect Parkinson to be worried about the 33-year-old picking up an injury after what’s been an active start to the new season for the striker.
Meanwhile, Broadhead and Ward won’t feature, and it’s unknown whether they’ll be fit to play in Wrexham’s next Championship game against QPR later in the month. Meanwhile, two of Wrexham’s three deadline day signings are in action during this international break: Issa Kabore with Burkina Faso, and Dom Hyam with Scotland.
Hyam’s Scotland played Denmark on Thursday, and Belarus on the 8th of September. Burkina Faso meanwhile play Djibouti on Thursday, and then against Egypt on the 9th of September.
Wrexham’s game against QPR is on September 13th at the Racecourse.
