One Wrexham player facing an uncertain future at the club must wonder why he never even got on the pitch against Sheffield Wednesday.
It has been another disappointing weekend for the Red Dragons, whose search for a first league win of the season goes on.
Meetings with Southampton and West Brom earlier this month were always going to prove difficult.
But Wrexham had a great chance to pick up three points against a Sheffield Wednesday team who have lost multiple key players and did not have a proper pre-season.
It looked set to be a great day at the Racecourse Ground when Kieffer Moore netted a first-half brace.
But when all was said and done, Wrexham drew 2-2 with Sheffield Wednesday after what was a poor second half.

Wrexham player must be baffled after Sheffield Wednesday
Details of the Wrexham dressing room message vs Sheffield Wednesday at half-time were shared by Moore.
But it clearly fell on deaf ears, with the Welsh outfit well below par after returning to the pitch.
The drop in tempo, lack of creativity, and inability to cope with Wednesday’s tactical changes were alarming.
Despite this, Phil Parkinson made just two substitutions across the 90 minutes, taking off his strikers for Sam Smith and Ryan Hardie in like-for-like swaps.
Wrexham were crying out for something fresh in the middle of the pitch, and with Josh Windass sidelined, it would have made sense to bring on Elliot Lee.
Lee was the Dragons’ top scorer last season and one of their most creative outlets available off the bench on Saturday, yet Parkinson opted against letting him feature.
He was never going to start the match, but given that second-half display, it seems odd he wasn’t given an opportunity to inject some much-needed lift into the Welsh side late on.

Elliot Lee could leave Wrexham
It was obvious last season that Wrexham needed another creative outlet in the centre of the pitch alongside Lee.
Windass was that man, but now he’s injured, it’s baffling that the former Luton Town man played zero minutes against Wednesday.
It has previously been reported that Wrexham could let Lee leave during the current summer transfer window.
He is one of their longest-serving current players, and Parkinson has called Lee ‘brilliant’ previously. But if he isn’t going to use him in a game like Saturday’s, maybe he would be better served moving on.
