Wrexham are looking to bring in a number of new signings as the Championship season looms for Phil Parkinson.
Ryan Hardie joined Wrexham from Plymouth Argyle in June, but the Scottish striker remains the only new arrival at the STōK Cae Ras this summer.
Wrexham are expected to spend this summer, and more deals are surely in the pipeline ahead of the big Championship kick-off.
June 30 marks the expiry date of many contracts, with the likes of Steven Fletcher, Mark Howard and Jordan Davies among those who are now officially free agents.
Wrexham’s accounts end on June 30 each year, meaning July 1 brings excitement and some potential freedom in terms of spending.
With that in mind, here are some deals Wrexham could look to advance with July 1 now upon us.

Danny Ward
The most likely signing to kick off July is goalkeeper Danny Ward.
Wrexham held talks with Ward in June after seeing Leicester City release the goalkeeper following relegation from the Championship.
Ward completed a medical with Wrexham on Monday, according to reports, and confirmation of his return to the club could come today.
Ward’s Leicester contract has officially ended, and the path is now clear for him to rejoin Wrexham more than a decade since leaving.
Craig Dawson
Wrexham are seeking defensive additions this summer, and Parkinson could turn to experience in Craig Dawson.
Dawson has left Wolverhampton Wanderers, with his contract officially ending on Monday.
Wrexham have held talks with Dawson, and with pre-season starting, the experienced defender will be keen to sign for a new club soon.
Birmingham City have been linked with Dawson, but Wrexham will hope to secure the veteran centre-back as a potentially busy month kicks off.

Aaron Cresswell
Another experienced defender on Wrexham’s radar is Aaron Cresswell.
Wrexham target Cresswell has been released by West Ham United and is another player who officially became a free agent on Monday.
Viewed as a left-sided centre back, Cresswell will be 36 later this year, but Parkinson has a strong hit rate when it comes to signing experienced players.
Parkinson has admitted speaking to Tommy Smith, highlighting that the former Sunderland defender is a sounding board for potential signings if they have played together in the past.
Parkinson spoke to Smith just a few days ago, and he racked up more than 100 appearances alongside Cresswell at Ipswich Town: one to watch early in July.
Barry Bannan
Barry Bannan’s Sheffield Wednesday contract officially ended on Monday, and his status as a free agent will appeal to Phil Parkinson.
Bannan has been offered new terms by the Owls, but the fiasco surrounding their financial situation may leave the Scot to consider moving on.
Wrexham are keen on Bannan, with the Scot offering proven Championship quality even well into his 30s.
Tom Cairney now looks unlikely to join Wrexham, and Bannan could become the focus as another experienced, left-footed, creative midfield player.
This one is slightly more of a long shot for today, but Bannan’s Wednesday deal ending without new terms seemingly being close means a move is a possibility.
