Wrexham are eyeing Premier League reinforcements going into the 2025/26 Championship season.

The Red Dragons have often targeted players with experience at a higher level under Phil Parkinson’s management, and that looks set to continue this summer.

Ben Davies is linked to Wrexham, while Parkinson has been in contact with Premier League clubs for loan signings.

As we revealed earlier on Saturday, the Red Dragons are interested in Daniel Jebbison, who is currently on the books of AFC Bournemouth and spent time out on loan at Watford in the Championship during 2024/25.

Meanwhile, an announcement regarding another Premier League player Wrexham want to sign has been made this week.

Wolves confirm Wrexham target Craig Dawson’s release

It emerged at the end of May that Wolverhampton Wanderers centre-back Craig Dawson is attracting Wrexham interest.

We then learned this week that Dawson has been offered a contract by the Welsh outfit.

This came with the expectation that the veteran stopper was going to be departing Wolves for free at the end of June.

And the club have now confirmed in an official announcement that Dawson is indeed one of the players they are letting go this month.

They wrote: “Forward Sarabia and defender Dawson will both depart for pastures new having spent the previous two-and-a-half seasons at Wolves.

“Both players initially signed during the January 2023 transfer window from Paris Saint-Germain and West Ham United respectively.”

This past campaign saw the Englishman line out 15 times in the Premier League, losing his place in the second half of the campaign.
