Wrexham could see several players join and leave the club in the January transfer window.
The Red Dragons have largely been linked with attacking reinforcements in the winter of 2024/25 so far.
A new striker is on Wrexham’s wish list with none of their current number nine options managing more than five goals in League One this season to date.
Patrick Bamford has been linked and TWI understands his Leeds United teammate Joe Gelhardt is also of interest to the the Red Dragons.
While signings are likely to be the main focus from fans’ point of view, departures could still happen at the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham sent several players out on loan in 2024, with decisions over their futures needing to be made this year.
Meanwhile, some of the Red Dragons’ current options could benefit from a temporary exit this month.

Wrexham should loan Modou Faal in January
With another striker expected to be signed in January, Modou Faal will likely fall even further down the pecking order in Wales.
Wrexham paid a club-record £590,000 for the 21-year-old but he’s really struggled to cement himself as a regular starter.
Faal opened his account in the EFL Trophy but he’s so far played just 55 minutes of League One football across six outings this term.
The centre-forward clearly has a lot of potential, with Wrexham legend Andy Morell recently revealing that Faal is ‘unplayable’ in training.
He said: “I really like the way he looks, he’s got happy feet, he’s comfortable with the ball at his feet… He can go past people, he can hold it up, he’s got a bit of everything… at times he’s unplayable in training, I hear. It’s just about consistency.”
But with so little game time seen in 2024/25 and more competition expected to arrive in January, a loan exit would allow the former West Bromwich Albion man to get some much-needed action and finally show his true potential.

Other Wrexham stars who could seal January loan exit
After shining in the EFL Trophy this season, Aaron James has admitted that he would like a loan move in January.
Wrexham are well-stocked in the centre-back department so James’ departure does make sense.
Elsewhere, midfielder Harry Ashfield could benefit from a temporary exit with his potential also already obvious.
Former Manchester City man Josh Adam has failed to have any real impact since arriving in 2024 and he too may need to leave in order to revive his career.
