Wrexham are keen to add strikers to their squad this summer, and they could easily turn attention to one former Liverpool star who is available on a free transfer.
Following Wrexham’s three successive promotions, Phil Parkinson’s side will compete in the Championship, where they will face their biggest challenge yet.
Wrexham have already endured their Australia and New Zealand pre-season tour, where Parkinson was critical of his forwards and the chances created across the three games, two of which saw the Red Dragons fall to defeat.
Following on from the pre-season tour, the Red Dragons have signed Liberato Cacace, whilst Josh Windass is also set to join Wrexham.
Parkinson won’t be happy stopping there with forward recruits, however, as they may turn attention to one former Liverpool wonderkid who Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac could sign for free.

Wrexham should sign Rhian Brewster following Sheffield United departure
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson has been given £10m to spend on a striker this summer; however, that money could be heavily invested elsewhere if the Red Dragons decide to delve into the free agent market.
One man whom Wrexham could enquire about is Rhian Brewster, the former Liverpool star who once signed for Sheffield United for £23m.
The 25-year-old previously found himself at Liverpool, where he struggled to cement a place in Jurgen Klopp’s side, but a successful loan spell at Championship side Swansea City soon made him a wanted man.
He joined Sheffield United for a £23m fee, but his spell with the Blades would prove to be difficult, having notched only nine goals in 119 games.

Why Phil Parkinson could revive Rhian Brewster’s career
Despite a tricky spell in South Yorkshire with Sheffield United, there could still be hope that Phil Parkinson could get Rhian Brewster’s career back on track.
After he signed for Sheffield United, he was regarded as ‘one of the country’s hottest’ youngsters by Chris Wilder, via BBC, and based on his spell at Swansea City, it is understandable to come to that conclusion.
It will be Parkinson’s job to finally help Brewster live up to the title he was handed by Wilder. He has already shown to be a brilliant player at Championship level, when on form, and signing such a player on a free makes total sense for Wrexham at this moment.
He may have fairly lofty wage demands, but Wrexham could easily benefit with a player of Brewster’s calibre on the side.
