Wrexham confirmed their third signing of the 2025 summer transfer window on Friday, signing Liberato Cacace.
Liberato Cacace is costing Wrexham £4m, which is nearly double the previous record transfer for Sam Smith on January 31, 2025.
The defender is signing from Italy, meaning Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have made history during their era of owning the Dragons.
Wrexham fans have reacted to Cacace’s signing, and they are very pleased to see the left-back arrive.
After moving to the Racecourse Ground, the 24-year-old has become just the second member of a unique club.

Every New Zealand player to play for Wrexham including Liberato Cacace
The 24-year-old has spent three years honing his craft in Italy with Empoli.
Before that, he enjoyed a spell in Belgium with Sint-Truiden, but Cacace began his career in his native country of New Zealand.
He had a stint with Island Bay as a youngster before signing for his hometown team, Wellington Phoenix.
Wrexham will play Wellington Phoenix in a pre-season friendly on Saturday to end their pre-season tour of Australia and New Zealand.
Cacace made his international debut in the summer of 2018 and has notched a further 15 caps, scoring one goal.
He is just the second player in the history of Wrexham, the third-oldest football club in the world, to have come from New Zealand.
The previous, as per Transfermarkt, was Chris Killen, who signed on loan from Manchester City back in 2000.
Now 43, the retired striker played 12 matches for Wrexham during a loan spell, scoring three goals.
Like Cacace, he was a New Zealand international, netting 16 in 48 outings for his country.
