Wrexham are winding down from another gruelling campaign but plans are bubbling behind the scenes for next season.
Phil Parkinson has confirmed talks with players over signing for the club ahead of the challenge of the Championship but Wrexham are yet to make any concrete moves.
Shaun Harvey has hinted at free agent signings as Parkinson looks to build a 25-man squad capable of competing against the likes of Southampton and Leicester City.
Wrexham could enter the loan market and sign some promising youngsters from Premier League clubs but they should also look at their former League One rivals and players that can make the step up with them.

Three League One players Wrexham should sign
Wrexham can learn from Derby, Portsmouth and Oxford on how to survive the second tier following promotion and all three clubs were smart with their recruitment.
A mixture of youth and experience was the way forward but the sides also looked in League One to bring the top talent up to the Championship with them.
Wrexham Insider investigates three League One stars that are capable of elevating Wrexham ahead of their challenge next campaign.
Charlie Kelman
Charlie Kelman could be about to join the Red Dragons in the Championship as he prepares for the League One play-off final against Charlton for Leyton Orient.
However, Kelman is on loan at Orient from parent club QPR and Wrexham would be wise to explore the situation in bringing the 23-year-old striker to the Racecourse Ground.
He would provide the perfect foil for Sam Smith with his ability to run in behind but also drop deep and become part of the build-up play.
Kelman has scored 27 goals in all competitions so far this season and there are no doubts that he has the attributes to make the jump to the next level.
Charlie Savage
Wrexham are interested in Charlie Savage and after his performances for Reading this season it is clear to see why.
Savage impressed for the Royals during his 51 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing 13 assists along the way.
At just 22, the midfielder still has a lot of scope for improvement and would provide some much-needed energy to the Wrexham midfield alongside the likes of Matty James.
Savage is already a Wales international and whilst he is under contract at Reading until 2027, the Red Dragons would certainly have the financial muscle to lure him away.

Lloyd Jones
Another player that could yet join Parkinson’s side in the Championship pending Charlton Athletic’s outcome against Leyton Orient but Lloyd Jones is a defender at the top of his game right now.
Wrexham’s defence were superb last season with Arthur Okonkwo securing a record number of clean sheets for the club behind the likes of Max Cleworth and Eoghan O’Connell.
However, Jones was named in the League One team of the season and as per the EFL, he was the highest rated player across the division.
His dominance in the air and in ground duels made him stand-out across the campaign and at 29, he is at the peak of his powers.
