Wrexham are not done in the transfer market just yet, with three seven-figure targets emerging in recent days.

Phil Parkinson has been a busy man of late, adding four new signings to his Wrexham squad.

Liberato Cacace, George Thomason, Josh Windass and Lewis O’Brien all joined Wrexham in the space of a week, handing Parkinson a major boost.

If anybody thought that Parkinson was going to sit back and relax after that transfer spree, they are being proven very, very wrong.

Parkinson has admitted that he is working on other signings, with ‘several’ players in mind for the Wrexham boss.

Wrexham have made an approach to sign Nathan Broadhead from Ipswich Town, while Sheffield United striker Kieffer Moore is also on Parkinson’s radar.

Latest on Juan Portilla to Wrexham

Parkinson’s comments highlighted that Wrexham are looking at targets both at home and abroad.

Wales internationals Broadhead and Moore certainly fit the bill as home-based targets, with Talleres midfielder Juan Portilla one of the foreign targets.

Reports over the weekend suggested that Wrexham are keen to sign Portilla in a potential £4million raid on Talleres.

Portilla was then left on the bench against Godoy Cruz on Sunday, just as speculation over a transfer swirled.

Tevez suggested that Portilla had personal issues to work through, and a summer exit was not ruled out.

Sky Sports now claim that Wrexham are indeed interested in Portilla, but contact with Talleres has yet to materialise.

Crucially, the report claims that Portilla is interested in a move to Wrexham, which may just tempt Parkinson and co into launching an approach.

Portilla’s contract expires in December 2026, though Talleres are thought to have a one-year option as part of that deal.

Wrexham could spend £15million on next three signings

Wrexham’s recent transfer spree was exciting enough, but Parkinson could now spend some serious money.

Portilla is believed to be valued at around £4million, while the reports around Broadhead suggest a £7million offer – and Ipswich’s reluctance to sell means Wrexham may need to offer even more.

The fee for striker Moore was suggested as being around £4million, though that seems a little high as the target man approaches 33.

Add those prices together and you come to £15million on three signings, which would take Wrexham’s total summer spend close to £25million.

There is a lot of work to be done on all three moves here, especially as contact has not yet been made with Talleres for Portilla.

Portilla, Broadhead and Moore certainly appear to be priority targets for Wrexham, though, and we may see Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds fund three major additions ahead of the new season.
