Wrexham are looking to sign a new centre-forward in the current winter transfer window.
Red Dragons fans are still eagerly waiting for their first signing of the 2025 January window.
Two Wrexham players have left the club already this month, but there have been no incomings at this stage.
A number of centre-forwards have been linked, however, with Phil Parkinson seemingly eager to add some much-needed firepower to his frontline.
Michael Smith is a target for Wrexham yet again this month after the Welsh outfit initially failed to get a deal done in the summer.
We have provided a detailed, expert verdict on what Red Dragons fans need to know about Smith should that move come to pass.
Meanwhile, Liverpool youngster Jayden Danns has been linked to Wrexham this week as he continues to shine for Arne Slot’s side.

What Jayden Danns wants amid Wrexham links
Danns has 24 goals and four assists in 33 matches for the Reds’ U18 team.
He’s also netted three times in seven senior outings, most recently scoring against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup.
Now, The Wrexham Insider have spoken exclusively to transfer expert Graeme Bailey for an update on Danns.
And Bailey told us that the teenager is keen to start garnering more minutes in the second half of 2024/25.
He said: “Wrexham have been waiting in this window, they no good players are becoming available as the top clubs assess playing time and options.
“Liverpool have a host of talent and up to half a dozen of their prospects are wanted, and one of the main names is Jayden Danns.
“I am told Danns has nearly a dozen clubs keen on him, so it is a matter of him and Liverpool deciding if he should go, and then choosing the right move for him but I understand the player is keen to get more minutes under his belt in the next six months.”

How Phil Parkinson could use Jayden Danns at Wrexham
With Danns searching for more playing time, Wrexham seems like the ideal move for him.
Parkinson has been struggling to get his strikers firing this season, with Paul Mullin still on just two League One goals.
In turn, given Danns is a tricky, fast forward, he could come into the team for Mullin alongside a target man.
Steven Fletcher and Ollie Palmer are the current options to partner Danns, but Smith would also work in that role if he is signed from Sheffield Wednesday.
