Wrexham could have a very different squad come the close of the 2025 winter transfer window.
The Red Dragons are expected to be active on both the incomings and outgoings front this month.
Prior to the window opening, nine players were tipped to leave Wrexham in January.
There have been no incomings so far, though Dion Charles is a target of the Red Dragons according to recent reports.
Charles is one of several strikers linked with Wrexham in the last month, which isn’t surprising given none of their current options have more than five League One goals this season.
But while a new number nine is a priority for the club, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are set to sanction the exits of two attackers in January.

Second Wrexham player to leave after Jake Bickerstaff
Jake Bickerstaff spent the first half of the current campaign plying his trade on loan with National League side Altrincham.
He returned to the Racecourse in January as he was only on a six-month deal but Wrexham have allowed Altrincham to extend Bickerstaff’s loan until the end of 2024/25.
The forward only scored one National League goal in the first half of this season so him leaving again does make sense.
Now, reports have emerged that another forward is heading toward the Wrexham exit door this month.
Billy Waters sent a message after returning to Wrexham over the weekend following a loan spell with Halifax Town.
Halifax were hoping to see Waters stay but journalist Pete O’Rourke now claims he’s set to join Oldham Athletic.

Billy Waters Wrexham stats
Wrexham signed Waters from Barrow in March 2023 for an undisclosed fee.
He played just one game for the Red Dragons in the final few months of 2022/23, coming off the bench against Torquay United.
The 30-year-old went on to make 14 League Two appearances in the following campaign – going on loan to Doncaster Rovers in January – but failed to score a single goal.
In total, Waters was only able to feature eight times for the now-League One club and didn’t provide a single goal contribution.
