The January transfer window has only been open for seven days but Wrexham are already being linked with a lot of players.
The Red Dragons recruited well over the summer but with a third successive promotion now on the cards, the Welsh outfit look to be in the market for further reinforcements in January.
We revealed last month that Wrexham are looking at Ethan Wheatley of Manchester United as an option to strengthen up top.
In the first week of the winter window, meanwhile, a whole host of other names have been tipped to make a move to Wales.
Harry Cornick is being linked with Wrexham amid struggles to garner any sort of meaningful playing time in the Championship with Bristol City.
Another centre-forward could move to the Racecourse Ground this month as well for a club-record fee.
Reports last week claimed Wrexham want Plymouth Argyle striker Ryan Hardie but he has a £2m release clause – nearly four times what they paid for Modou Faal in the summer.

Phil Parkinson on Wrexham January transfer plans
With so many strikers linked of late, it’s clear the club are in the market for a new number nine.
This makes sense given none of their current centre-forwards have scored more than five league goals this season.
Now, as per Wales Online, Phil Parkinson has been asked about the Red Dragons’ transfer plans this month and gave an honest response.
None of the above names, barring perhaps Wheatley, are in great form right now and are unlikely to improve Wrexham.
But Parkinson has made it clear they will only make signings if the player can add quality to his side.
He said: “We’re always looking to see if a player comes available who we think can improve us as we’ve got the resources to try and get that player.
“I don’t bring someone in for the sake of it and disrupt the group, but we’re looking all the time, and speak to clubs and agents.
“If we feel they can add that extra bit of quality, which might help us get over the line at the end of the season then of course we will go for that.”

Phil Parkinson hints at type of player Wrexham want to sign
After links to the Plymouth forward, Wrexham fans were in agreement about Haride, believing his addition would not be worth it.
That’s a fair view to take given he has just one goal in 20 Championship matches in 2024/25.
And when further discussing transfers, Parkinson hinted he wants to bring in players who are ready to play at the level above.
He added: “Some key players left us in the summer, and you have to keep moving forward and recruiting players who are ready for this level, but also the level above as well. To get out of divisions, you need players whose quality is above the level you’re operating at.
“The club is very fair to all the players and everyone is looked after. But as a manager, I’ve got to make sure that we keep evolving the squad and improving in all areas.”
Looking at Hardie’s poor goal return this season, he doesn’t seem to fit that profile at all, making his recent links pretty strange.
